Bio
Born and raised in Upstate New York. Amie has made her name across the tri-state region in the performing arts industry. Her love for performing started at a young age dancing where she excel quickly to an advanced level in a matter of three years. She trained at In Motion Dance Center as well as Broadway Dance Center and The Pulse on Tour. She took her passion of creating and became choreographer of her high school's drama program (Beauty & the Beast, The Pajama Game, High School Musical Jr.). She became a dance instructor in 2009 and has sustained that career for over 14 years.
She proceeded to take her love of theater becoming director for St. Denis/ St. Columba drama program in Hopewell Junction. During her three years, she grew the program having a fall & spring production (Alice in Wonderland Jr., The Music Man Jr, Movie Night, Happily Ever After). Still continuing teaching dance, she began to expand her choreography career with opportunities at New York Fashion Week, Carnival Cruise Line & Kidz Bop Live Tour. She even served as a rehearsal assistant for Joffrey Ballet School's summer program assisting Zak Ryan Schlegal & Artistic Director Josie Walsh.
In 2020, she recieved her Bachelor's from SUNY Purchase in Arts Management. With the unfortunate circumstance of the pandemic, she took her chances on the only entertainment industry to resurface...Televison & Film. Transferring from background acting to crew on Amazon Studio's Modern Love, her career path grew rapidly working on 15 different projects in two years.
She continues to train and grow in all industry fields in hopes to become a creative producer, tour choreographer or even own her own performing arts empire. The sky is the limit.
